Manchester named safest city to live in the UK
Manchester has topped a list of the safest cities in the UK to live in following analysis from Homedit.com. The results were based on rankings in six criteria with Manchester performing particularly strongly in all of them.
The extensive study looked a crime rates per 1,000 residents, high and low flood risks, fire station and hospital coverage as well as street-light expenditure. Manchester recorded an impressive safety score of 85 out of 100, well ahead of its nearest competitor.
Manchester is now well established as the UK’s leading property investment hotspot, and the news of its impressive safety record will be welcomed by investors in the city.
