The Manchester Mayfield area is gearing up for a £1.1bn scheme to help transform the area into a new city centre community and green space.
Located just beyond Piccadilly Station, the Mayfield area has long been a disused area of the city. The Mayfield Station was last used as a station in 1986, with the space since being used as a creative events venue for the Manchester International Festival.
